The place of the Altar Server in the liturgical celebration remains one of prominence and distinction.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve the community of Sacred Heart by distributing the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ during Communion at Mass as well as to the sick and homebound.

The lector serves a unique role in the liturgy. It is Jesus himself who speaks in the Scriptures.

Spanish Apostolate of the Sacred Heart

While every ministry affects our worship, some ways of service are more closely related to the parish’s liturgical celebration. One of these ministries is that of the usher.

"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38).

When

  • Saturdays: 3:30 - 5:00 pm
  • After all of our 7 am & 9 am weekday Masses
  • At anytime by appointment with a priest

"Take this, all of you, and eat it. This is my Body which will be given up for you."

Confirmation is the Sacrament which gives us the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It completes the grace we receive at Baptism and helps to make us strong and faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
