Respect Life Society

The goals of the Respect Life Society are threefold: 1. To secure legislation that will protect human life from conception to natural death. 2. To establish educational programs that will enable our parishioners to better understand and appreciate the sanctity of human life. 3. To provide help to problem pregnancy centers for unwed mothers of all ages, such as to Birthright in Middletown, Mother and Unborn Baby Assistance in Newburgh, the Nazareth Life Center in Garrison, and to Good Counsel Homes located in Spring Valley,Poughkeepsie, the Bronx, and Hoboken. Every year on January 22, a group from Sacred Heart goes to the March for Life in Washington, DC All are invited and encouraged to join this society.

Meetings

The 2nd Friday of the month at 9:45 am at the Chapel. All are invited, in particular non- parishioners.

Activities

Six times a year we invite Helpers of God's Precious Innocents to pray with us and stand in vigil at an abortion clinic.
