Knights of Columbus Monroe Council 2079
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael J. McGivney. The founding watchwords of our order are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
The Knights of Columbus was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Our members offer aid and assistance to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
Our local Monroe Knights of Columbus chapter is 2079. We organize and participate in many charitable works throughout the local community and internationally. You can learn more about the Knights of Columbus Monroe Council 2079 at our web site.
