Altar Servers

The place of the Altar Server in the liturgical celebration remains one of prominence and distinction. The main purpose of the Altar Server is to act as a leader of prayer by assisting the priest in the celebration of the Eucharist. Any boy or girl in the fifth grade or above can participate as an Altar Server. Altar Servers are recruited annually during the school year. A course of instruction is given and installation is held annually.
